The Government has decided to place our covering areas (Bristol, South Gloucester and North Somerset) in the new Tier 3, Very High Alert level.
This decision is based on criteria including data about the number of cases we are experiencing and the current pressure on the local and regional health and social care services.
Only by doing so, we will do our best and control the spred of the virus.
What we do?

- We notify you in andvance when shall you expect the cleaners as sometimes there are last minute changes
- Offering more flexible last minute cancelation terms
- Giving extra communicating support
- As households cannot mix, we have to ask you to either not to be at home or stay in one room and we do not enter in that room while we do the cleaning.

We are a family run professional cleaning company in and around Bristol, with about a dozen of cleaners. We do try to keep the same staff for as long as possible and we do train them from time to time to be able to do their best as much as possible.
We use quality cleaning products, cloths and equipments. We have wide range of cleaning products like Mr Muscle, Cif, Method, Cillit Bang, Dettol and Ecover. Our cloths are 100% microfibre which makes our work more professional. These cloths can remove 20%-30% of bacteria from surfaces without any cleaning products. To ensure not to spread diseases we use colour coded clothes and we will never use a previously used cloth in another clients' home. For the floors we use Numatic Henry or Hetty and Karcher carpet cleaner devices. We always mop all hard floors and for this we use a flat damp mop which leaves a very thin layer of water on the surface and it dries quickly. It is absolutely safe on any wooden or laminate floors.
We clean houses, flats, commercial places, or whatever needs to be cleaned indoors. We can do weekly or fortnightly regular or one-off cleanings like end of tenancy cleaning, spring cleaning, oven cleaning or carpet cleaning. We are happy to have a key, so you do not need to be at home to let us in, giving you more flexibility. If you wish you can be at home of course, or you can pop out for an hour and return to a freshly cleaned house. We try to be as thorough as possible within the agreed time. We will do whatever is a help for you so you can customise each cleaning if needed. If you have a preference list we can follow that first and and we will use up the rest of the time as we think is best. Usually we do focus on the bathroom, the kitchen, main bedroom, en-suit and we do the rest of the house if we have any extra time left. If you wish, we can change your beddings and make up the bed, or do some ironing, hang clothes, load/unload dishwasher or washing machine or any other housekeeping tasks.
We work in teams, sometimes 2 but mostly 3 cleaners are provided in a team. That means we can do a job in half or third time. If you get a quote for 3 man hours, that means 2 cleaners can do it within an hour and a half and 3 cleaners can do it within an hour. Because of the power of the teamwork we can do jobs much quicker and also we can do more jobs on each day and nonetheless between two cleanings there is always a bit of resting time we can do a much better quality of work constantly. Actually clients do like this as we will disappear quickly leaving nice scents and tidy houses behind. There is a team leader in each team who is responisbile for the keys, trains new staff and checks quality all the time. We would never bring in any personal belongings to our clients' homes, not even mobile phones are allowed except the team leader's team phone. As much as possible, we always send the same team with the same 2 or 3 members of staff. In case somebody is on holiday or away we will send another cleaner with the usual team, as we always try to make sure at least one or two of them are your usual cleaners. We will never let you down, even if there is no extra staff to allocate to a team one of us (tha managers) will help the team out and will carry out the promised job.
We have started Cleaning Fairies in 2011 however we have more than decade of experience in the cleaning industry. Also we have experiences in customer service, we are polite and always willing to help.
When we have started it was only the two of us, me (Lori) and my wife (Janet). At that time we have done everything by ourselves, all the cleaning work and managing the business. Although we had previous experiences we have managed to work out a system, and learn new tricks and techniques, which we demand even now from our cleaners. They have to do things in a certain way to be able to do a much higher quality of cleaning. We have employed and trained many kind of people and many of them have told us that 'I thought I know how to clean'. Our cleaners keep learning all the time, and we keep training them as often as possible. Now we are able to do the background work, which could be sometimes more stressful than it seems, to get everything ready for the cleaners and our clients and our team leaders do the training work.
City of Bristol (3)
Sometimes the inner areas could be tricky mainly due to the heavy traffic and the lack of free parking spaces. Whenever possible we require our clients to provide a parking space or visitor permit for us. If we need to pay for parking we have to add that extra cost to your invoice.
North Somerset (2)
Only the North Eastern part of North Somerset is available at the moment, Failand, Portbury, Long Ashton, Flax Bourton, Dundry, Winford. We cannot travel farther than the Bristol Airport or Portishead.
Bath and North East Somerset (1)
One of our main area is the Chew Valley with Chew Magna and Chew Stoke, however we cannot take on regular jobs beyond the A368/A39 at the moment. We are happy to go to Bath however only for one off jobs longer than 6 man hours.
South Gloucestershire (4)
Currently we cover the Southern and Western parts of South Glos including Patchway, Bradley Stoke, Stoke Gifford, Almondsbury, Thornbury, Yate/Chipping Sodbury, Winterbourne, Frampton Cotterell, Colapit Heath, Westerleigh, Pucklechurch, Emersons Green, Lyde Green, Warmley, Oldland Common, Longwell Green.

The most important for us to keep our clients on a high satisfactory level. We provide very high standards in cleaning. After our work everything will be sparkle and spotless. We are flexible and there is no contract. Though if you decide to be one of our happy client it means you accept our Terms and Conditions. Usually a couple of days notice is enough to take on a new cleaning job. We are coming weekly or fortnightly always on the same day but if something happens to you and you want us to come on a different day or you are on holiday we are not making a fuss about it. We always do what is the best for our clients.
We always turn up and mostly in time. If we are late more than 15 minutes we always let the client know what happened and when are we expected, a lot depends on the traffic and sometimes we have to travel longer distances. We have a 24 hour guarantee on our job, which means within a day we accept any complaints and we will come back to redo what we have missed for free.
We have highly trained cleaners in black or pink uniforms with the company logo on the front and back. If you got used to a cleaner and she is on holiday we provide another cleaner in the same uniform and you can trust her as she will do the cleaning on the same level of standard. We are able to remove scale, mould, dirt, grease and make your home sparkle. Your home is the most important thing for you so is for us. You do not have to be at home while we do the cleaning, sometimes it is not even possible for you. You can trust us to give us your keys to gain entrance to your home. We have a strict key policy, we are CRB checked and we have public liability.
Our services are available 24/7. We stand down only for a week around Christmas.

At Cleaning Fairies we are trying to protect the environment. We have a paperless policy, which means we are not printing unnecessary pages, actually we have not even got a printer. We do all our paperwork on computers, instead of letters we are sending e-mails and we recycle all of our bottles.

Basic cleaning of each home will include:
Kitchen and Utility Room
Disinfect and clean sink, draining boards, hobs, counters, cupboard doors and handles. Outside of oven, microwave (inside and out) and shelves will be wiped clean. Toaster, kettle, other pots and bits around on the kitchen counter will be cleaned and polished. Tables and chairs will be wiped. Rubbish and recycling bins to be taken out and then floors vacuumed and mopped thoroughly.

We are following a colour code for cloths. Using colours will help to prevent any infection spreadings from one area to an other.
We always use a different cloth in every houshold and we would never use a used cloth. All the clothes are disinfected at 90°C before reusing them again. We use microfiber clothes made with latest technologies.
